The Original Oyster House restaurant donated $1500 to Via! of Mobile (formerly Senior Citizens Service) as part of the 2008 Memorial Day tribute at Hank Aaron stadium. The Original Oyster House also sponsored a benefit day with the Mobile BayBear players on hand to sign autographs, photo opportunities, prizes and much more on Monday, May 26, 2008. Proceeds from the Memorial Day sales were donated to support the adult care program that servers older adults with Alzheimer’s disease and other aging related conditions.
